I work on machine learning applications for startups.
Right now I'm a Member of Technical Staff at Sciemo, working across an ML product end to end — model development and evaluation, plus the data and infrastructure that move research into production.
Before Sciemo I worked on engineering at Decision Desk HQ, helping build real-time election forecasting systems and co-authoring a few pieces in the Harvard Data Science Review. I started Recursia, a small AI consultancy, and earlier worked on data-science teams at Dynata and Øptimus. I studied Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland.
Away from the keyboard, I like to read, listen to a lot of music, and poke around in other fields — the catalog here is where I keep track of what's been worth the time.
Machine Learning
Working on models — training and evaluating them, and the pipelines that support them in production.
Data & Infra
The plumbing: data pipelines, entity resolution, and the MLOps stack underneath the models.
Systems Engineering
Helping turn research into working software, with attention to the coding standards and tooling a team relies on.
Experience
Member of Technical Staff
Building machine learning systems at Sciemo (sciemo.ai) — model development and evaluation, plus the data and infrastructure that move research into production.
Founder
Started Recursia, a small AI consultancy that helps businesses figure out where AI might be useful and how to put it to work.
Senior Director of Engineering
Worked on engineering for real-time election forecasting and data analysis, contributing to methodology for modern American elections. Co-authored a few pieces in the Harvard Data Science Review.
Lead Data Scientist
Helped build a data science team of 6. Worked on a price optimization engine, an imputation engine for interpolating missing data across sources, and parts of the MLOps stack, along with some workflow improvements along the way.
Data Science Associate
Worked on an entity resolution system for PII-based big data. Helped run an operations team delivering insights to clients, and contributed to an in-house MLOps platform used across the organization.
Lead Teaching Fellow, ENES100
Lead teaching fellow for ENES100 (Introduction to Engineering Design), mentoring first-year engineering teams through a semester-long design-and-build project.
Catalog lately
A running log of the albums, films, and books I’ve worked through — each with a score and a short take. A few recent entries below. (Placeholder content for now — not real reviews yet.)
Sample Album One
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
Sample Album Two
Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem.
Sample Album Three
Ut enim ad minima veniam, quis nostrum exercitationem ullam.
Sample Film One
At vero eos et accusamus et iusto odio dignissimos ducimus.
Forecasting past work
For a few years I worked on real-time election forecasting at Decision Desk HQ — live win probabilities, simulated outcomes, and called races. A taste of that work, drawn in the house style. Sample data shown.

Projects
One Big Step
A walking robot that put out a small fire, built with 3D-printed materials, some fun gearing, and an Arduino. It picked up the A. J. Clark School of Engineering Innovation Award.
GitHub →Price Optimization Engine
A price optimization engine I worked on at Dynata, using data to inform pricing decisions.
Learn more →Entity Resolution System
An entity resolution system for PII-based big data I worked on at Øptimus, matching entities across disparate sources.

University of Maryland
Minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Java, JavaScript, C, Python, R, HTML & CSS.
General Assembly
Intensive program in data science methodologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
